1. How do you get rid of discoloration spots on your face? 2. Does anyone have any ideas for crafts/projects using baby food jars? 3. Does anyone need cardboard for any projects? I have a ton and hate to through it away.
I don't think you can get rid of discoloration on your face. I use concealer or some sort of a blemish cream. I don't know if you wear foundation but the trick to that is use a makeup sponge and dab some foundation on the sponge directly put it on the areas that are red or blotchy and then work out from that point. This will make your skin look even and then finish with powder. there might be some creams that will help to??
carrie had the girls do a project for me with baby food jars. She mod podged little pieces of tissue paper on the jar. Like little squares of different colors of tissue paper. then she put in tea light candles in the jar. and when they are lit it is really cool.
I'm sure there is a cream for smoothing out your skin...check the OLAY website...baby food jars...snow globes...glue something to the inside of the top, fill the jar partly full with what ever you want it to snow and then with corn syrup slightly diluted with water. Glue the lid on and let dry. Be careful putting candles in the jars because if they get to hot they explode. As for Cardboard it makes stencils or Cut outs that you can paint.
Discoloration or hyperpigmentation can only be eliminated with a AFT Laser. I actually do it at my job on a daily basis. It does take a serious of treatments and can be expensive. Around 500-1,000 dollars. If you just want to lighten the spot you can go a cheeper way by getting a cream or serum that has hydrocodone in it. It will actually lighten the darker skin while keeping the integrity of the lighter skin around it. You would have to get a medical grade and can only order them at a deratologist or med spa. they range from 30-150 dollars. Or you can get a chemical peel at a spa, a series of treatments can lighten the hyperpigmentation using a combination of strong hydrocodone, and lactic acids. Email me if you have any questons or would like to know what is the best creams. Love ya, Steph
Hi, I'm Katie...
When I got married and took on the role as homemaker on top of school and work, I realized how little I knew about the 'job'. I began paying close attention to friends and family members who have amazing talents and abilities. I began asking "how did you do that?", "how did you make that?", "will you teach me how?". I started this blog in hopes of sharing with you the things I learn from fellow homemakers. We can all learn so much from one another. And with help from each other we can do great things in our homes, our families, our communities, our jobs, and our churches.
It seems as though sometimes this world we live in snickers at women who chose to make their family and home responsibilties their first and foremost priority . However I think it is a position of honor that deserves respect. We should wear the title with confidence and dignity, never allowing anyone to make us feel like our role as homemaker in this world is insignificant! I hope this blog can be a resource to others and inspire you to take pride in your position as a homemaker.

Skin bleach. I have really bad pregnancy mask and it fades really well with skin bleach.
