Hi, I'm Katie...
When I got married and took on the role as homemaker on top of school and work, I realized how little I knew about the 'job'. I began paying close attention to friends and family members who have amazing talents and abilities. I began asking "how did you do that?", "how did you make that?", "will you teach me how?". I started this blog in hopes of sharing with you the things I learn from fellow homemakers. We can all learn so much from one another. And with help from each other we can do great things in our homes, our families, our communities, our jobs, and our churches.
It seems as though sometimes this world we live in snickers at women who chose to make their family and home responsibilties their first and foremost priority . However I think it is a position of honor that deserves respect. We should wear the title with confidence and dignity, never allowing anyone to make us feel like our role as homemaker in this world is insignificant! I hope this blog can be a resource to others and inspire you to take pride in your position as a homemaker.
